Where are the main settings?
The app list for split tunneling sits next to the protocol setting. Tick an app and it uses your normal connection. The kill switch is on the same screen, along with the blocking toggles that come with Plus and Pro.
You can also add a VPNPass tile to Quick Settings. Swipe down from the top of the screen and tap it to connect.
How do I keep the VPN on all the time?
Android keeps this under Settings > Network & internet > VPN: tap the gear icon beside VPNPass. Enable Always-on VPN there. Turning on Block connections without VPN as well keeps every app offline whenever the tunnel drops.
A few apps won't work on a VPN address, such as some banking apps and delivery apps that check your location. Tick only those in split tunneling.
The VPN keeps turning off
Some phone makers close background apps hard to save battery, and the VPN is closed along with them. Set VPNPass to Unrestricted under its battery settings so the system leaves it running.
If the install stops on a warning about unknown apps, give the browser that downloaded the file permission to install. Once the install finishes, feel free to turn that permission back off.
