Is it for you?
Reach for it on a network you have reason to distrust, when the task is sensitive, or when you simply want an extra step between your device and where you are going.
Streaming, browsing and games do not need it. A single server already encrypts everything and keeps your real IP hidden, and it is quicker.
Who knows what on the route
The entry server knows your IP but never sees where the traffic ends up. The exit server talks to the site but has no idea who you are. The site meets only the exit address.
We keep no logs on either one, so there is no pair of records anyone could line up.
How much slower?
It depends on where the two servers are. A route that stays in one region, such as Seoul then Tokyo, adds little. A route from Asia to Europe adds a lot more delay, and pages take visibly longer to open.
If speed suddenly matters, switch back to a single server. You can move between the two at any time.
Connecting
Both Plus and Pro come with it. The server list will have a separate Double VPN tab, with the entry and exit city printed on every route. The VPNPass apps are still in preparation.
Your kill switch, filters and protocol choice carry over unchanged.
- Server list > Double VPN tab
- Choose a route, for example Seoul then Tokyo
- Tap Connect
