No logs: your activity stays off our servers

Every request you make while connected passes through a VPNPass server, so the real question with any VPN is what that server writes down. About your activity, ours writes nothing. Below you will find what we skip, and the small set of account data the service cannot run without.

Nothing about what you do

Our VPN servers pass traffic along and keep no trace of it. No list of sites or apps, no copy of content, and no saved answers from our DNS resolvers.

The address you connect from and your session times are skipped too. We hold nothing that could tie a session to you.

  • Websites visited and apps launched
  • Whatever your packets carry
  • DNS lookups
  • Your real IP
  • Session start, end and length

Signing up without personal details

Sign up with an email and a password of 8 or more characters, or with an account token and nothing else. Neither way asks for a name or a phone number.

We never send email, so there is no verification step and no password reset. A lost password or token is gone for good. Put it in a password manager on day one.

What the account record holds

Login checks run on one-way hashes: a password hash with the email you gave, or a token hash with its last 4 characters. Token accounts also have one encrypted copy of the token, kept only so top-ups land on the right account. Your sign-up IP is stored as a hash as well, which enforces the limit of 3 accounts per IP.

Beyond that: your balance, top-ups and orders, the end date of each VPN pass, a marker per connected device that is removed on disconnect, your messages to us, and, if you buy proxies, the proxy username, password and allowed IPs.

Where no logs stops helping

Keeping no logs shuts your provider and the Wi-Fi owner out of your traffic. It does nothing about accounts. Sign in to a site and it knows exactly who you are.

A tunnel does not stop cookies or tracking scripts either. Plus and Pro can filter part of them, and tightening your browser's privacy settings covers more.

Common questions

Has anyone independent checked these claims?

Not yet. No outside audit has been done. What you read here is how the service runs today. The privacy policy holds the binding version.

My password is gone from memory. Is there a reset?

No. We send no email, so there is no reset link, and we only have a hash of the password. A lost token works the same way.

Why store a hash of my sign-up IP?

To apply the limit of 3 accounts per IP. A hash lets us check for a match without keeping the address itself.
